If you end up missing the band Deerhoof on Feb. 21st at the 40 Watt Club, don't sweat it. Wait, you don't know where the 40 Watt is? No wonder. It's in Athens, Ga. But again, no worries. Deerhoof will play at Mercy Lounge the very next night, and you won't have to drive so far.

Deerhoof combines fun noise rock with a sweet side. If you've never heard them, check out their new album "Friend Opportunity" and then find your way to the Mercy Lounge on February 22. Harlem Shakes and Busdriver are opening for Deerhoof that night. Busdriver is a free-style hip-hop artist in the vein of Sage Francis and MF Doom, while Harlem Shakes is an indie rock band hailing from Brooklyn - think Wolf Parade or Tapes 'n' Tapes. The variety should ensure a little something for everyone.

Doors open at 8 p.m. and admission is $10. Luckily for those of us under 21, the show is 18 and up. Check out http://deerhoof.killrockstars.com/ for more info on the band.
