Friday March 4th, will feature a breakfast and interfaith forum from the U.S. Women and AIDS Tour at the Metropolitan Community Church from 7 to 9 a.m. The forum will bring together religious leaders from the Nashville area to discuss how the religious community can enhance programs to protect women from HIV.

Later in the day there will be a public health forum at Vanderbilt Children's Theatre 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This panel discussion will address the health risks faced by women. It is put together by UNAIDS which has launched the Global Coalition on Women and AIDS.

 Joan Jacobs Brumberg will give a talk titled "Rethinking Anorexia Nervosa: A Historian's Perspective," on March 16, 4:30 p.m. in Furman 114. Brumberg is a professor at Cornell. She teaches history, human development and gender studies. She is author of the book "The Body Project."

On Thursday March 17th at 7 p.m. in Benton Chapel will be The Annual Antoinette Brown Lecture. This year the lecture is titled: Scriptio divina: Women, Writing and God. The lecturer, Dr. Stephanie Pausell, Associate Dean for Ministerial Studies and Senior Lecturer on Ministry at Harvard Divinity School, will explore the variety of ways in which women writers have articulated the spiritual dimension of writing. 

 The popular car maintenance program will be continued this year. "The ABC'S of Car Maintenance Goes Hands On!" will be on Tuesday, March 29 from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. in the Terrace Place Garage. This year participants will be able to bring their own cars and gain hands on maintenance experience. Participants must RSVP to jennifer.hackett@vanderbilt.edu
